Measurement Diagnostics

Measurement Diagnostics helps you check the quality of data you send to Sklik via SEM hits. With clear statistics, you can easily see whether your measurement is set up correctly and quickly identify potential issues.

What it is used for

Measurement Diagnostics shows which hits Sklik receives, how many of them can be processed, and how many were rejected. It helps you verify that:

  • measurement is being sent correctly,
  • hits contain the required information,
  • users provide the necessary consent.

This allows you to react in time and ensure accurate campaign evaluation.

Where to find it

You can open the feature on the Measurement Management page by clicking the Measurement Diagnostics button. A window with an overview of statistics will then appear.

What data you will see

Diagnostics show aggregated statistics for the last 30 days (always up to midnight of the previous day).

The main metrics include:

  • Total number of hits – how many hits were sent
  • Hits by event type (event_name) – overview of the types of actions you measure
  • Share of hits with consent – percentage of hits with user consent for targeted advertising
  • Share of hits with identity:
    • with SID
    • with hashed email
  • Share of processed hits – hits that have both consent and at least one identity
  • Validation errors:
    • number of hits by error type
    • share of individual errors out of all errors

How to interpret the data

  • A high share of processed hits indicates that the measurement is working correctly.
  • A low consent rate may indicate an issue with consent management implementation.
  • Missing identity limits the ability to match users and evaluate performance.
  • A high number of validation errors indicates a technical implementation issue.

What to watch out for

  • Data is available with a delay (up to midnight of the previous day).
  • The statistics are aggregated – they are intended for quality checks, not detailed analysis of individual hits. For that, use Sandbox.

Recommendations

If you identify an issue:

  1. Check your measurement implementation.
  2. Verify your consent (CMP) setup.
  3. Contact your analyst or developer.
  4. Monitor changes in Measurement Diagnostics after adjustments.
