Paying for Sklik

Sklik advertisement has no entrance fees or a specified minimum purchase value. Clients pay for clicks on the advert or for impressions of advertisement.

Pay Per Click

The Pay Per Click system requires payment for advertisement clicks; therefore, you pay for the users who were delivered to your website via Sklik. Pay Per Click may be chose for Search and Display Network.

Cost per click

The minimum Cost Per Click is the amount you are willing to pay per a click on your advertisement. There is no limitation to Cost Per Click; however, the minimum you need to offer is CZK 0.20 less VAT. CPC affects the placement of the advertisement on the page; higher offers may bring your advertisement to a better position.

However, actual Cost Per Click might be lower than the maximum price. In the event of a click, the system charges the lowest price required for the advertisement to remain in its place. Therefore, the actual Cost Per Click will never exceed the maximum Cost Per Click that you have specified.

Pay Per 1000 Impressions

If your campaign aims at being seen, it is suitable to choose the CPT payment model best in combination with banners. Due to the character of advertisement, Cost Per 1000 Impressions may only be selected for Display Network.

Cost Per 1000 Impressions

Similar to the Cost Per Click, Cost Per 1000 Impressions is not limited and may be changed at any time. The minimum permitted offer is CZK 2.00 less VAT. The selected price affects whether the advertisement is displayed on the website. In the case of text advertisement, it also affects the position of the advertisement. The amount charged as Cost Per 1000 Impressions will never exceed the maximum price specified by you.

Selection of the payment model is available at campaign settings.

If the Cost Per Click or Cost Per Impressions has been set up too low, it may affect the position of the advertisement. A price offered too low may result in the advertisement not being displayed at all.

Daily Budget

Daily spending can be controlled via campaign daily budget settings so you do not have to be afraid of spending more than you can actually afford. The number of clicks and impressions per day depends on the daily budget parameters and the offered price. Instructions on using the daily budget well are available at a dedicated article on our blog.

Excellent parameters of the campaign settings and a catchy advertisement on a higher position may address larger number of users, reduce advertisement costs and improve the position of your advertisements on the page.

Credit Top-Up

Sklik advertisement is paid via the Seznam Penezenka (wallet) service, which uses the same login data as the Sklik. Once credit is topped up, active advertisement begins to display.

Dobití kreditu

The balance of the wallet is available at the Sklik and Wallet interface in the top right corner of the screen. An exact sum of funds spent at the given period is available in the statistics of Sklik’s advertiser interface.

The stats of Sklik and Wallet are updated with a delay and they are not mutually dependent in time. User clicks are deducted from the credit by batch processing for various time intervals, depending on the system load level.
